UK News: Lobbying Event in Parliament
European Education Coordinator Cheryl Cruwys has organised a lobbying event at the Houses of Parliament on Wednesday 19 November. Also attending is Professor Fiona Gilbert, Department of Radiology, University of Cambridge, and honorary consultant radiologist at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, who led the UK BRAID study. The aim is to highlight the need for change and to obtain Declaration of Support signatures for investment to improve the breast screening programme to benefit women.
