UK BRAID Trial:
The Breast Screening – Risk Adaptive Imaging for Density (BRAID) Trial, a multicenter study focused on women within the NHS standard breast screening program who are found to have radiographically dense breasts, is underway at some sites in the UK and is scheduled to begin soon at others. The BRAID study will investigate the use of supplemental screening to address reduced sensitivity of mammography in women with dense breasts.
