#WorldDenseBreastDay SUCCESS, FAQ Update
World Dense Breast Day
While final numbers are still being tallied, WDBD was a huge success. We saw posts in multiple languages and had participants from at least 64 countries. Increased awareness and desire for more education on the topic resulted in a 750% increase in DBI daily website traffic!
Many thanks to our supporters who participated in this education marathon! This year they were joined by private and hospital imaging centers, medical societies, medical journals, researchers/research supporters like the Breast Cancer Research Fund, local/national advocacy groups including Susan G. Komen, CME/CE developers, the media, celebrities, U.S. state and federal legislators, U.S. state/county health departments and even the National Cancer Institute!
